The Law on Access to Housing and Renovated Urban Planning (ALUR) was published in the Official Gazette on March 26, 2014. This implies that certain elements of the law have an immediate effect. Today, the firm Métier Immobilier makes a freeze to explain the new mandatory display of condominium properties for sale.
You may have noticed that all of our condominium-in-transaction ads have changed since March 27, 2014. Since the publication of the ALUR Act, it is mandatory for a property put up for sale :
- Specify if it is part of a condominium package.
- Mention the number of lots in this set.
- Indicate the amount of current expenses inherent in the lot (s) put up for sale.
- Warn if the whole condominium is the subject of a procedure.
It is for the purpose of transparency for purchasers that the ALUR law now requires these four elements to appear in all the advertisements concerned.
What should be remembered: the ALUR law now imposes to display elements related to the co-ownership so that the purchaser benefits from better information. The real estate firm has already adapted its display to the new provisions.
